Up for your consideration is this Vintage 1899 Cardboard Diecut sign, Oversized Oyster Dealer w/ Advertising Calendar. This is tagged Chauncey W. Lombard The Leading Fancy Fish and Oyster Dealer, 590 Congress Street. 147 Free St. and 100 Portland St. Portland ME Maine. This measures 14 3/8” tall with the original 12 month calendar pad still attached. This is in very good condition showing very minimal wear and the only blemish worth mentioning is the calendar pad cover is missing a corner. A great Nostalgic Antique piece of ephemera that would enhance any Oyster Can collection, Fish Monger Market, Seafood Restaurant or Victorian Showcase!
