A metal biscuit canister manufactured for retail use with a hinged glass lid for displaying products. Produced by the Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company, which was founded in 1902, these tins were staple fixtures in American general stores during the early to mid-20th century. The company branded its products under the Sunshine label, emphasizing the sanitary and bright factory conditions where their biscuits were baked. It measures 9 inches wide eight and three-quarter inches by 6 1/4 inches tall The glass is cracked and broken on the top. You can see this in the photos. Otherwise it is in good condition.
