The lettering for that one word is mostly all intact. The year is missing, either because it was never printed or because it has faded past all recognition. Much of that detail is gone. In my best estimation, around 60% remains – mostly concentrated on the front and 2 sides.

When I saw this piece at an estate sale, I had no idea what it was but wanted it! I was subsequently shown an old photo of it in use in a store, with what assisted to be a tobacco label inserted on each side. Incredible and rare piece, and designed to slide up and down to insert different labels. Stands securely and operates as intended. Please see pics for further description and condition.
