Very cool RARE vintage Chicago Hardware Fixture Co Midget Turnbuckles Advertising Sign Store Display. This is made of Masonite Board and I believe was part of a 1950s/1960’s store display. Does not come with any metal pegs/hooks but you can still purchase those if you actually want to use it to hang things. One of the mounting holes has some damage as shown. Also the sign may have originally been white & is now faded. OVERALL FAIR to Very Good VINTAGE CONDITION GIVEN THE AGE. IT HAS NORMAL WEAR FROM PREVIOUS USE AGE AND STORAGE INCLUDING SOME SPOTTING, SCRATCHING, MINOR COLOR LOSS, MINOR PAINT LOSS, WEAR, ETC. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS, AS PICTURED & AS DESCRIBED. Great vintage and functional advertising piece that probably came out of a 40-50s hardware or automotive part store. 49 separate compartments. Paint is still pretty nice for a piece that came out of a barn here in northern NJ. Measures about 29x29x9.” Lots of dings, dents, surface rust, etc. Certainly an original survivor and not made overseas anytime recently.
